Christine began Snips and Lips in 2007 and offered a mobile service for cuts colours and styling. She had a passion for up styles and decided to hone in on that. Having completed courses on long hair styling she started to look after brides and developed that skill.

She now has over 20 years experience in the industry. She has worked on many photo shoots, short film and TV too but her passion lies with bridal work along with her salon for her local clients.

Christine now works from her salon for her bridal trials and offers a one to one based appointment, she takes her time to go through everything, whether it is a cut and colour, an up style or make up at the bridal trial.

Christine is married with two gorgeous energetic boys who love helping their Dad on the farm especially at lambing time.

She set up her salon with the help of her husband at their home just outside Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow.

She now travels in the Leinster area and surrounding counties for weddings.

“My favourite part of a wedding is seeing the pure happiness of my bride and her wedding party on one of the most memorable days in her life. It is an honour to witness it and be apart of her preparations. There is nothing like the buzz of the morning of the wedding.”

Having first trained in fashion photographic make up Christine soon added hairdressing to her skill set. She always had a love of up style's even before she left school. Once qualified in hair dressing she followed that love soon becoming a bridal specialist. She also loves to take care of clients for any special occasion from christenings, debs, communions, confirmations or wedding guests creating a look that will look amazing for the day.

Christine has also worked on many photo shoots, television and short films where she was employed to ensure that television and film stars are presented with the high quality appearance that is expected by the entertainment industry. In an ever changing world of fashion and style Christine has managed to keep up with the times by remaining freelance allowing her to excel in all areas of hair dressing and make up.

As a bridal specialist Christine wants to give the bride the most relaxing morning as possible. She travels to the bride and stays with her till she places the veil and does her final checks of everyone. She wants to make her feel absolutely beautiful on her wedding day.

The hair can be the most intricate up style, Hollywood waves, soft up dos with a soft natural make up or a glamorous make up. Christine will work with the bride at the trial and go though all the details with her and then recreate it on the wedding day.
